WELCOME to beautiful and picturesque Northwest Georgia often referred to as the blueprint of the South. The City of LaFayette, Georgia is proud to offer our new efficient terminal for pilots of all lifestyles.

Built with the local and traveling corporate pilots in mind offering a pilot lounge with very comfortable recliners. A modern flight planning room, break room and restrooms with showers. The airport offers a loaner vehicle and you’ll find the nearby restaurants very accommodating. One even offers free limo service!

golfimageIf golf is your game then you are in luck. The City of LaFayette Golf Course is located right next to the airport. The par 72 course features bent grass greens and hybrid Bermuda grass fairways and rough.  Four sets of tees allow players of all abilities to enjoy its wonderful layout.  There are many challenging holes to test player’s skill as they play one of North Georgia’s most beautiful courses.

Staying a while? Visit some of our nearby attractions such as Rock City located on 30 minutes away in Lookout Mountain, Georgia (yes it really is located in Georgia right next to the Tennessee line) Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway, Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park, and the very breath taking Cloudland Canyon State Park.

T Hangers are available along with larger corporate hangers. The airport has an A&P/IA on the field as well as an engine and hydraulic hose facility. Flight training is available at the airport from private pilot all the way up to twin IFR ratings.
